Jake Montoya

Vice President

Jake Montoya is a Vice President on Valeas’ Operating and Investment Team, where he works on sourcing, evaluating, and managing the Firm’s investment portfolio.

Jake comes to Valeas from Audax Group, where he focused on private equity investments in technology, healthcare, industrials, and business services. At Audax, he was part of deal teams for the acquisitions of Solve Industrial Motion Group and ICP Group, the sale of Gastro Health, and the underwriting of Audax Private Equity’s Continuation Fund I.

Prior to Audax, Jake worked as an Analyst at Citi on the Industrials investment banking team in New York. He earned his A.B. from Harvard College in Economics with a Secondary in Energy & Environment.
