Mike Dierks

Partner

Mike Dierks joined Valeas in 2021 and is a Partner. He serves as a non-voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee and oversees the firm’s finance, legal, technology, and compliance functions.

Prior to Valeas, he founded Lobos Valley Advisors, a consulting firm for private equity firms, venture capital firms, and their portfolio companies. Through Lobos Valley Advisors, Mike worked closely with Rob on several special projects for Golden Gate Capital that resulted in several hundred million dollars of value creation.

Previously, Mike was COO and CFO at Crossbow Technology, where he restructured the company’s wireless business and international operations. He was also a Director at Intel Capital, where he was a corporate strategic investor in early-stage technology companies. Mike started his career as an attorney and earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.S.E. from Duke University.
